Just like kids.įor new users, TITANS should definitely be the way to go, it represents the product - more or less - that EA and KS backers were expecting but never received. I've also had some problems with placing buildings near walls, where the building's outline suggests the building fits and can be constructed, but my units refusing to do my bidding. This is an issue that has persisted ever since the alpha, and still has not been completely tackled. My units are unable to work out the shortest route and sometimes simply get stuck. However, the game is still plagued with poor enemy AI and poor pathfinding.

TITANS introduces new planets, some updates and a whole load of new units. Some fans, however, are not taking kindly to the release, for an understandable reason. A new streamlined tutorial that helps players learn the ropes faster.New planets that feature multi-level terrain, which is available in both single and multiplayer.Additionally, there are 16 new units, including the Hover Tanks, Orbital Battleships, and probably the most devastating, Nanobot Swarms. Five massive Titan-class super units like the rumbling Atlas bot or the crackling Zeus airship. So what's included in this smooth, plentiful gravy? TITANS, which includes the base game, topples on plenty of gravy on mashed taters.

Quoting: wojtek88And I believe this 90 percent discount will vanish and when I upgrade hardware, I will be forced to pay whole price. If you bought a game you can't run, that's on you. Oh, is THAT the problem? When did you last try it, the game including the base PA has had performance improvements post Titans launch, and it looks like they are trying to improve performance even more.

Quoting: wojtek88The problem is that it isn't running well on my rig and I doubt today for me it is worth to pay even 10 percent of original price. I own Titans and half the time have the Titans DLC turned off to change up the gameplay. That DLC can be deactivated by owners in game and that allows online play between PA and Titans owners. No you weren't, PA has always continued to be the base of Titans, which is just PA with a DLC. I paid for the original game and after Titans was released I was left with abandoned version of the game. If you don't own it, Planetary Annihilation: TITANS is actually 80% off on Humble Store right now.
#New planetary annihilation titan update
I like everything they've talked about so far, including their recent update on getting more multithreading in. Hopefully they can push it forwards to revive the playerbase, if done right they could really make something of it again. Really exciting to see the game get a renewed focus. Later this month, they're planning a new PTE (Public Test Environment) build which is essentially an opt-in beta for people to test features. In my original post talking about this change and how PA is essentially being revived, I mentioned how having two seperate games was fracturing the community so I'm pretty pleased to see them make a step to address this. Planetary Annihilation is no longer for sale on Steam, with only new players now seeing Planetary Annihilation: TITANS and the upgrade to TITANS will stay as a permanent 90% discount. Planetary Annihilation and Planetary Annihilation: TITANS are going through a bit of change right now, as they're moving from Uber Entertainment to the new Planetary Annihilation Inc.
